I bought this house from the MLS a few months ago and it is just about finished. We blue taped some minor touch up items today and our contractor who worked on the home actually wants to buy it for himself. I bought it from the MLS for $270,000, we spent about $35,000 on the repairs and another $25,000 on carrying costs, financing costs, and selling costs. We may have sell selling costs if our contractor buys it as we will not have to pay a real estate agent to sell it. It is worth about $400,000 after fixing it up.
We replaced the roof, siding, flooring, painted everything, and did some work to the baths. We also replaced the fixtures and cleaned up the property which was a mess when we bought it. you can see the before video here:
