The controls are so easy to use that it’s a breath of fresh air! Thank you RCA! Also, it doesn’t mention it in the web site description, but the beep alarm function starts slower and softer and increases gradually until it reaches its maximum in about 30 – 45 seconds so you can wake up more gently. They should advertise that as I think it’s a huge plus. They call it “GRAD-U-WAKE” in the manual. Also, there is a battery back up so if there is a power outage, although the display won’t be lit, it will still keep the time and alarm settings. The only thing they could improve on is the color of the green LED. It’s more of a light greenish yellow. We would have preferred a truer green LED. If they offered it in white instead of black that would be very nice too. But we are very happy with it overall!
