Why Encouraging Toddlers to Help Benefits Them In The Long-Run

Toddlers are naturally curious as they are absorbing and learning at a rapid pace. Often, they have a tendency to want to mimic behaviours they see including, completing chores - toddlers will often want to sweep, use a vacuum cleaner, hang out the washing and are often very enthusiastic about it.

There are many benefits of encouraging and supporting the toddlers desire to help, in the video, we’ll look at 5 benefits. It’s not about having a helper to relieve the parent, the primary benefit is about instilling confidence and developing the skills that helping out can provide. When the toddler helps, it really helps them tenfold in the long-run.
