Steve walks thru a renovation project with a new Hampton's style kitchen with shaker cabinets that is nearing completion. The floorboards still need polishing and some appliances need installing and it is taking shape nicely. Check out the beautiful piece of stone on the bench-top. This is going to be a stunning home for the young family that are set to move back in when renovations are complete. Transcript:
[Steve Burke] This is the beautiful kitchen, the Shaker Style with the profile cornice and the profile doors This is a beautiful slab of stone and then you can probably get them around this long probably not much wider than that. It really creates a large island bench with the pendants coming down over the top Lots of draws, so you can access the back cupboards so we don't do as much nowadays. Lots more draws more accessible. We like bringing the bulkhead down to the top of the cabinets so you the cabinets finished and there's this big gap Lots of storage. Handles too, we have to get all this, the kitchen's not quite finished yet and obviously the rangehood needs to get clear Which has got external motors, so you don't need the fan motor on the inside. It's on the outside wall.
