Parts of Arunachal Pradesh are still reeling under floods. Situated just 22 kilometers away from the capital city Itanagar, the Dokum village, falling under Hollongi area, is still under the grip of flood waters. According to the local villagers, Dokum village gets flooded every monsoon, but this year, the picture is rather unfortunate as the level of water flowing is comparatively much higher.
With approximately 15-16 households residing in the village, no relief material has been provided to them so far despite yearly visits of government officials.
