About Us:

I have Myalgic Encephalopathy (M.E.) a chronic illness that leaves me mostly housebound and spending most of my time laying down or resting. One thing I can do and really enjoy is laying on the sofa in our conservatory watching the birds feed throughout the day. My lovely Hubby and I had been discussing how we could encourage more wildlife into our estate garden.

For my 46th birthday my fabulous Hubby surprised me with a hedgehog house and a weatherproof external wifi camera! He installed the camera in the garden so we could see what was happening from any room in our home. We have been so happy to see the wildlife that comes into garden day and night. We have created this channel so we can share the visitors to our garden with our family and friends. This is our first foray into the world of outside cameras and videos, so please be patient with us!

We have two cats of our own who may feature in the videos from time to time, but they are not very adventurous! Any cats you see in the night shots are not ours. To prevent territorial wars and to give the wildlife a break we have always encouraged ours to be in for dinner at dusk and their door is locked until the morning.

We had our garden updated December 2015 to make it easier to manage and added a pond and waterfall to encourage more wildlife and to create a relaxing atmosphere. Looks as though its already paying off.
