ARABIC : حضرت الإمام زين العابدين علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب /
أبو الحسن علي بن الحسين بن علي السجاد، المعروف بزين العابدين.
URDU: حضرت سید سجاد سیدنا امام زین العابدین.
NAME: His name is ‘SYED ALI’ and Kunyat is ‘Abu Muhammad and Abul Hasan’. His titlesare ‘Sajjad, Sayyid-ul-Sajideen, Zain-ul-Abideen and Ameen.
KNOW FOR: He was the fourth Muslim Imam from AhleBait, after his father Husayn ibn Ali.
NOTABLE ROLES: He survived the Battle of Karbala in 680 CE, after which he and other surviving family members and companions of Imam Husayn were taken to Yazid (L) in Damascus. Eventually, he was allowed to return to Medina, where he led a secluded life with a few intimate companions.
RESTING PLACE: Jannat Al Baqi Cemetery, Madina Munawara, Hijaz Muqaddas (Saudi Arabia).
