CINCINNATI - One person is dead after a double shooting in South Fairmount. The shooting happened at an apartment complex on Queen City Avenue.
A female victim was found dead and a male was shot in the shoulder. Police say the male is expected to survive.
"It hurts... it's painful... you think about the family, the mothers, the kids who are involved... it's more than this yellow tape you see out here. Life goes on after this. We've got to try to help the people that's left behind," said Mitchell Morris, who is a community activist from Cincinnati Works who was at the scene, along with officers.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Kimberly Lorman.
Police have not made an arrest or said if they know what led up to the shooting.
