Dremico's Art Channel: Crayola 36 Colored Pencils (Realistic heart shaped red balloons )

Dremico's Art Channel: Crayola 36 Colored Pencils (Realistic heart shaped red balloons ) Completion time: 2 hours 23 minutes

I drew 3 red heart shaped balloons. After my first real review of Crayola Colored Pencils and the mediocre score I gave it, I still wanted to let people know that you can draw nice art with the pencils, but if you were to buy a more expensive type of pencil, the process would be easier and you would have more options.

Drawing realistically isn't as difficult as I though it was in the past. You can actually see my progress in art from just a few years ago. Of course with certain mediums the process can be daunting. Soft pastels, for example is easier for me to use at this point, compared to colored pencils. However, colored pencils give you more control over the drawing. The pros and cons of mediums will become apparent once you gain more experience.

The biggest problems that I came across with crayola's pencils were the blending ability, transparency of the wax and it's lack of ability to highlight (through layering). Try highlighting white over red.....it doesn't highlight it blends. Other products BOTH blend and highlight based on the pressure of your hand.

Enjoy the video.
