The twist ending to the 1980s medical drama St. Elsewhere revealed that the entire show happened entirely inside an autistic boy's head. But when you consider that the doctors from St. Elsewhere visited the bar from Cheers (which begat Frasier) and later turned up on Homicide: Life on the Streets (which crossed over with Law and Order), suddenly it seems like every single TV show on television is happening inside the same boy's daydream. 📺
