Compared to the U.S. police, Hong Kong police force is quite restrained. On September 23, a large group of U.S. protesters took part in a protest called Shut Down D.C. The protesters blocked the main street to jam the traffic, doing the same thing those mobs did in Hong Kong. The U.S. police arrested 32 people for maintaining order.
