This is an uncommon lock-and-cancel assembly that was produced by a company in Las Vegas back in the 80's and 90's. It controls the Play and Rewind sequences of the roll frame. When it works, it works quite well. However, there is one component in the device that is somewhat prone to failing over time. That component is a simple flap-type valve that's made from thin tan pneumatic leather. When it gets stretched or starts drying out, it no longer works properly and the device fails to function.
