Question from It's Our City at Sheffield Council cabinet meeting on 9th October 2019. It now appears that Sheffield Council’s “Big Conversation” - which was announced as being part of the review of governance - is actually NOT going to influence the design of the Modernised Committee System that will be voted on in the governance referendum in May!
All citizens and organisations that have input and experience to help influence the design of the new Modernised Committee System for Sheffield will actually need to make sure they take part in the governance review, which is being run separately to (and 'uncontaminated' by) the “Big Conversation”.
