Dinu M Joy is a native of Urulikunnam, Pala, and the winner of 2019 Sister Lini Puthushery Memorial Award which is a Kerala State Award for the Best Nurse. Her journey to winning this prestigious award hasn't been a cakewalk. Continuing her studies became tough for Dinu after getting married and having kids. Her zeal to study motivated her to travel nearly 50 km every day to complete her M.Sc. and her hard work made her ace it with flying colours. Having to leave her kids home and work so hard to get a proper higher education, she was often demotivated by many and made to question her decisions. But nothing came in the way of Dinu and success and her hard work became an inspiration to everyone facing obstacles in life.
