Keto Pregnancy: Medications, Anxiety, Self Care & Keto Pumpkin Spice Recipe. We're in the third trimester of my keto pregnancy and it's starting to feel like go time! At 37 weeks pregnant, things are starting to feel a bit more uncomfortable. Baby is running out of room and I've got pelvic pain and extreme acid reflux to show for it! I finally submitted to the fact that I needed to take some medication in pregnancy. That's not easy for me to admit! But it was an unfortunate necessity to save my sleep and esophagus. My lack of sleep was creating some extreme anxiety in pregnancy and was really effecting my physical and emotional health. I'm happy to report that just one Zantac at night before bed has DRASTICALLY improved this for me. Being able to sleep is seriously miracle working! Focusing on rest and preparing my body for labor has definitely become priority number one.
Are you feeling left out of all the pumpkin spice hype this fall while trying to stay keto?? I know the feeling, but I've got a super easy keto pumpkin spice shake recipe snuck in at the end of this video to keep those cravings at bay, up your protein, and participate in all the beauty that fall has to offer :) Let me know if you give it a try!
