Speaking on November 14, a senior Philippine Air Force (PAF) official gave a brief presentation showing Typhoon Eurofighter fighter jets, Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon, Sukhoi Su-30 'Flanker, and Saab Gripen as options being considered to add service. The Air Force is only reinforced by the FA-50PH Fighting Eagle light fighter jet made by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI).
