A Short Hike for Desert Tea with a View

After having spent some time away from the desert, I wanted an opportunity to reconnect. After some off-trail wandering, I found a viewpoint where I could watch the shadows move over the valley below. Mormon Tea and a single flower cluster from an ocotillo were there enjoying the same view and I used them to brew up a warm drink. There's something about sipping the flavors of the desert that seems to help connect with the place.
