Amber Garcia Torres, a 16-year-old Filipino motorcyclist, lost her life following a fatal accident that occurred in Buriram on Sunday in the 150cc Underbone.

Amber Garcia Torres, a 16 year old Filipino motorcyclist, lost her life following a dramatic accident at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram last Sunday. At the debut in the Underbone 150cc class (the so-called "prepared scooters") of the Asia Road Racing Championship, Amber ran into a dramatic accident during the third lap of Race 2 at turn 7.

Immediately transported to Buriram Hospital, after 4 days in intensive care, Amber Garcia Torres did not make it. Today, at 17:37 local time, FIM Asia and the ARRC promoter Two Wheels Motor Racing announced the death of the young Filipino driver.

This season he had secured several victories and the title of Sniper 150, the analogous national series of the Philippines reserved for Underbone 150cc scooters. In the ARRC Yamaha Philippine Team debuted as a UMA Racing driver on a Sniper 150, supported by the parent company.
