Ruptly is live from Lausanne on Thursday, December 5 as the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee arrives for a photo opportunity ahead of third and final day of meetings. During the three-day-meeting, the board is expected to deliver reports of the upcoming Olympic Games and various IOC commissions, as well as updates on the activities of the IOC administration. The alleged doping violations by Russia have also been the focus of previous executive board meetings. Recently the IOC demanded “toughest sanctions” against those responsible for deleting Russian doping tests in the data given from the Moscow Laboratory to the World Anti-doping agency (WADA), but left the door opened for clean Russian athletes to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
