Word-painting (or 'prosody') is when the lyrics of the song are illustrated by the music. I take a closer look at some classic examples including Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Harold Arlen's "Over The Rainbow" and Cole Porter's "Everytime We Say Goodbye".
