Milan was born in the streets. He was adopted then dumped right back at streets as soon as his family noticed something wrong with him... Milan could not walk properly... He found him-self in the streets semi-paralyzed , disoriented and starving. He was licking the pavements out of starvation when volunteers spotted him. We quickly transferred him to our clinic. Milan was very anaemic and had a fever when , a couple of days ago he first entered to our clinic. His general state was poor and despite his semi-paralyzed state , he did not show any fractured vertebrae.
Good news is that he is improving : his apetite is coming back to him as his fever got under control and consequently he is in a better mood. He is getting used to the doctors and proved to be such a nice fellow!
Since Milan is not showing any fractures on X-rays we are sending him for a MRI that will be able to show what the X-ray could have possibly missed. If MRI does not show any fractures or herniations or cerebral causes , we need to think about autoimmune or viral causes behind Milan's condition , FIP being one of them.
We pray it is not FIP as FIP is often fatal but it is too soon to say anything.Meanwhile Milan will continue his supportive treatment in our clinic.

Please think of poor Milan as your baby for a second and do what you would normally do,
