Pakistani Reporters are repeatedly becoming News | NayaDaur

Pakistani Reporters are repeatedly becoming News | NayaDaur Pakistani reporters have repeatedly become news. Sometimes, for all the wrong reasons.
In a latest video, a reporter can be seen standing in the middle of a running stream, talking about a potential flood. The reporter has become an internet meme, but also an example of what reporting must not be like. But he is not the only one who has gone out of the way toreport news. Geo’s Amin Hafeez has done so on many occasions. For example, he oncerode a donkey while reporting about population of donkeys in Pakistan.
On another occasion, he was seen interviewing a COW. But that does not come close to the reporter who laid insideAbdul SattarEdhi’s grave, reporting on how ‘spacious’ it was.
There have also been some who have slapped people simply for standing next to them. While this out-of-the-way reporting might be entertaining and give a ratings advantage over other competitors, they are not entirely safe for the reporters themselves. Journalists need to be trained to act professionally, and avoid circumstances that might cause them harm, because with zero insurance policy, they cannot afford to intentionally put their lives or health at stake.
