SANDF soldiers arrive at the Cape Flats

South African National Defence Force soldiers have been deployed at the Cape Flats in the Western Cape. The SANDF soldiers together with the police have started with stop and search operations at the entrance to Manenberg township. There was a delay in deployment to the gang-infested areas but all the paperwork is now in order and the mission is on track. Our reporter Mariska Botha is there and we cross to her now.
