Synopsis:
Latest Satellite Presentation on Tropical Storm Barbara continues to show further improvement with well-structured outflow bands on the northern and western quadrants of the tropical storm. Latest Microwave Sattelite imagery shows that the Eyewall is beginning to close in, However with the western side still a bit open, Microwave estimates are at 76 kts and SATCON at 77 kts. Therefore the initial intensity has been bumped up to 75 kts (85 mph) however As soon as this section closes off, Barbra will undergo a period of rapid intensification (RI). Right now a Blend of Models support a Category 4 with winds maxing out at 135 to near 145 mph in 48 hours, That's a Strong Category 4 Hurricane. Could this impact Hawaii find out more in the Video?
