Yeast Rolls Recipe
(First Ingredients)
1 1/3 Cup of Water (Lukewarm)
1 Teaspoon of Sugar
3 Teaspoons on Active Dry Yeast
Put sugar and then yeast into warm water and stir. Let set for 7 minutes until yeast blooms
(Second Ingredients)
4 Cups of Bread Flour
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1/3 Cup of Sugar
2 Large Eggs
5 Tablespoons of Melted butter
Combine second ingredients
Add Yeast mixture from first ingredients and mix together
Cover and let set for 15 minutes
After 15 minutes, pour out the mix onto a lightly flour dusted surface
Knead adding a little flour dust as stickiness occurs until “Windowpane or Bounce Back Effect” takes place
Place in oiled bowl with dough lightly covered in oil and cover bowl with plastic wrap
Place in warm place for 1 hour and until doubled in size
Punch dough and remove air.
Cut into even pieces and roll rough edges to the bottom
Place in pan, cover and let set for 1 hour and until dough has doubled in size again
Lightly brush with melted butter. Place pan on stove eye until cast iron is warm to insure browning on bottom. Place in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes on 375 F
Watch closely and remove when tops are golden brown
Brush with melted butter, remove from pan and serve.
