I have been visiting Dr Karen Coombes of Tree Roo Rescue at Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. I had the pleasure of meeting her delightful (and her naughty) joeys. This girl is Jilly Pop. (the Pop part of her name is because she does poppy little farts - all joeys fart, she just makes little poppy noises).
I thought you'd be interested in our conversation about the joeys, but if you have specific questions you'll need to ask Karen on the Tree Roo Rescue FB page. I don't know enough about this species to be able to answer you confidently.
I do know they're rambunctious, gregarious, funny and naughty. They're also not afraid to leap from a height onto your head and claw their way onto you at will.
