Check and recharge your car Aircon AC system at home.

Check and recharge your car Aircon AC system at home. In this video we show the diy method for checking the pressure in your aircon system and topping it up if required. This video is focused on cars from the mid 90's till around 2014 when almost everything used the same gas ( R132a Gas)
If your car is later it may use the later gas.
You won't accidentally fill it with the wrong gas though as the filling ports are a different design to ensure the right type of gas is always used.

The nature of gas filled automotive air con systems means that some gas loss over a 12 to 24 month period is almost certain and so a top up is a regular service need. A small drop in pressure will significantly affect how cold your AC can get. If you think you will top up your aircon or that of friends and family more than twice in an average year then purchasing the kit to do it yourself will save you money
