Well, this flagship from 2018 still boasts a solid dual lens camera for everyday snaps, strong performance and dependable battery life a year on. However, the durability of Apple's iPhone XS leaves a lot to be desired, while the sky-high asking price is still rather bonkers. After all, Android phones less than half the price offer a comparable experience, including similarly smart camera tech, plus improved battery life, greater customisation and extra features.
All the same, iOS 13 has introduced some commendable updates to privacy, efficiency, photo organisation and editing and plenty more besides. This mobile should stand the test of time, but it's only worth it if the cost comes right down.
That's my re-review of the iPhone XS 12 months later. Stay tuned for coverage of the iPhone 11, and other new Apple 2019 products!
