Its time finally to cover the German BF 109 (Me.109) series of military fighters from WWII. Initially built by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke, it was quickly bought out by Messerschmitt AG. Between 1935 and 1945, just under 34,000 examples were turned out. I cover the 109E and 109F fighter-interceptors, as well as the 109G fighter-bomber/ground attack series (which was the most heavily produced).
Featured 1/72 scale diecast models are from Corgi and Atlas.
