Raghu Desai and Babuji Thakor will be contesting from Radhanpur and Kheralu seats respectively for the Congress. Whereas Congress turncoats Alpesh Thakor and Dhavalsinh Zala were among those given tickets by the ruling BJP to contest the bypolls from the Radhanpur and Bayad seats respectively. Gujarat to see by-elections to six Assembly seats along with the Assembly polls in Maharashtra and Haryana on October 21. Counting will take place on October 24.
