National cricket team all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez also pointed out those involved in wrongdoing, saying they had to play with players who were involved in wrong activities. Mohammad Hafeez claimed that if he tried to raise his voice against such characters, he was advised to remain silent. While talking to Shoaib Akhtar's YouTube channel, Mohammad Hafeez revealed that the players mentioned above are like brothers for whom prayer alone can be done, but what they did was very fierce. When they tried to raise their voice in this regard, they were told that if Pakistan hopes to play more then be quiet.
Mohammad Hafeez said that because he loved his career, he did so because he wanted to use his positive energy for Pakistan. He acknowledged that he continued to play with the players which was a gross misconduct as it did not benefit Pakistan cricket nor to bring back those players who were involved in wrongdoing.
It should be remembered that former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has also claimed that during his career, he was often confronted by 22 opponents who were present not only on the opposing side but also in his own team. Rawalpindi Express, in its statement, had clearly stated that they were surrounded by match fixers while playing in the Pakistani team.
