Maureen Smyth, RN BSN, teaches the basics of the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoid receptors, cannabinoids, cannabis pharmacology and the research associated with the medical use of cannabis. She is certified by the Medical Cannabis Institute Global, in the Medical Cannabis Curriculum for Nurses and the Core Knowledge of the Endocannabinoid System. She is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA) and an ACNA Ad Hoc Committee member.
