FINDING HOME EPISODE #13 | We are first time home buyers who moved across country so we could find a house within our budget. We had been looking since January online in Indiana, but just moved to Indianapolis October 17, 2019 and exactly 2 weeks later, we put an offer in on a house that JUST came on the market that morning in the suburb of Brownsburg, Indiana.
We found a really awesome realtor just 2 days prior to looking at this house.

So why are we trying to find home?
In almost 7 years of marriage, we’ve traveled to all 50 states together and took one year to travel the world to 62 different countries.
Finally, we want to settle down and buy a home so we can start the adoption process as soon as possible!
The house prices in Colorado Springs caused us to broaden our search.
We want to find a home where the mortgage payments are closer to 20% of our take home pay - the recommended amount so you can still save, give, etc. and be completely debt free sooner.
We searched across the United States to find the best place for us to buy a home. In February 2019 we visited our top 2 states and chose Indiana :)
