UK could move on 'mechanism' of Northern Ireland consent says Barclay

The Brexit secretary has said discussions could take place over the next few days on the mechanism allowing lawmakers in Northern Ireland to decide whether the British province remains in regulatory alignment with the EU. The border with Ireland, which will be the UK's only land frontier with the EU after Brexit, has become the biggest sticking point in negotiations
